Natalie 'Nat D' DiDonato Found Safely
After a brief missing-persons search, “Mob Wives” cast member Natalie “Nat D” DiDonato has been found safe and sound in Nevada, according to her mother. DiDonato's mother, Denise Fuoco, confirmed her daughter's well-being to NBC News, saying, “She's fine right now. We're trying to get her home.”
The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department did not respond to requests for comment. Earlier, a representative had confirmed that DiDonato had been reported missing and was being actively searched for.
DiDonato's family said she contacted her mother on Wednesday and informed her she was okay, prompting her concerned mother to notify the police that her daughter was no longer missing or in danger.
Uncertain Circumstances
DiDonato's family and friends are unsure why she disappeared for several days. “No, she didn’t really want to talk about it,' Fuoco said. "I didn't push anything, because I’m pretty sure she might hang up."
The family had believed DiDonato was in Philadelphia recently, but later discovered she was in Las Vegas. DiDonato's sister, Janae DiDonato, said, “I found out that she was in Philadelphia. She was supposed to go from Philadelphia to Florida, back home. She didn't get on that flight," adding that police found records of DiDonato staying in a Las Vegas hotel late last week.
DiDonato's family was perplexed by her presence in Las Vegas as they had no knowledge of any acquaintances or connections she had there.
'Mob Wives' and Personal Life
DiDonato, a cousin of slain mobster Frank “Frankie Flowers” D’Alfonso, appeared in Season 5 of “Mob Wives , " which aired on VH1 from 2011 to 2016. She was often referred to as "Nat D" on the show to distinguish her from another cast member, Natalie Guercio, who clarified on Instagram that she was not the person reported missing.
Five weeks ago, DiDonato shared a positive post on Instagram expressing her contentment with turning 44 and having recently lost weight. She wrote, “Getting older is a blessing, can’t believe I made it this far," she wrote. "I’m embracing my age because to me it’s a badge of honor to have made it to 44."
